Brother Knights of the NYS Council

The 2010/11 NYS Council Leadership Training season has begun. You will find the full schedule attached and as additional sessions are added we will update the schedule on the NYS Council website.

The training is presented in each minor conference of the state by our major conference training teams. The training is standard throughout the state and has been recognized by the Supreme Council as outstanding. Each team is well qualified and experienced; I urge current and future officers as well as other interested knights of the local councils to take advantage of this opportunity which is provided by your state capita assessment.

It is certainly possible and encouraged for knights to attend a session in a neighboring conference if they are unable to attend on the day scheduled in their own conference, contact are listed on the schedule. Ten points toward the NYC Circle of Honor Award are awarded to each council that sends their GK and one officer to one these sessions.

In closing I would like to add a quote from Brother Carlo A. Bergonzo GK, Monsignor Cafiero Council, 7236, Brooklyn as he accepted our congratulations for his council's participation and success in winning the coveted NYS Council Circle of Honor Award for 2009/2010. Brother Carlo says:

May I also say our inspiration was Brother John Arcate and his training team at the 8/09 session held at John Hughes Council."
