Peru, NY – St. Augustine’s Council 7273 celebrated the
125th Anniversary of Knights of Columbus at the
September 15th St. Augustine’s Parish 2007 Applefest
Parade.  Members of Bishop Wadhams 4th Degree
Assembly #706 greeted the large crowd from the council

Edward Castellazzi, and Nick Quaranto, Charter Grand Knight of the RIT Council.  Needless to say, the RIT group, shown
in the right photo, was surprised by the presence of the State Deputy.  On Friday evening, October 5th, the State Deputy
also presented the Council Charter to the newly instituted council at

4th Degree Knights from the Bishop Brzana Chapter present
a check for $900 to Sister Annunciata Collins, Principal of
Augustian Academy in Carthage, New York.  The check was
from from the charitable proceedsof the 4th Degree Chapter
Ball held in Tupper Lake in June 2007.   
Sir Knight Joseph Margrey Sr. is shown presenting check

                                   Cardinal Farley Assembly Fourth Degree Scholarships Awarded

At the Cardinal Farley Assembly of the Fourth Degree Scholarship Dinner in Harrison, NY,two $500.00 scholarships
were awarded.  In the photo on the left, scholarship recipient  is shown with her Dad, GK David Campo and FN Joe
Opava Jr.  In the photo on the right is the Martin Family.  Brother Knight John Martin, his daughter daughter Chandler,
wife Linda, scholarship recipient Dakota and FN Joe Opava Jr. 05/08
This was the Color Corps Honor Guard on hand for the New
Rochelle Memorial Day Parade
.   Seven Sir Knights from
six different councils!  The Cardinal Farley Assenbly comes
through. When Brother PGK FDD Gene McLeer asked for
help with marchers for the annual parade, the leaders of our
Assembly came through.  It was amazing that Paddy
O'Connor knew every person along the parade route.   We
were cheered from one end of town to the other, literally.
