| Kingston Council 275: On Thursday March 13th 2008 friends and loved ones greeted 70 members of the New York Army National Guard’s 104th Military Police Battalion, a Kingston New York Based unit that has been stationed in southern Iraq since last summer. Following a parade down Broadway to the Neighborhood Center, the unit was treated to a welcome home ceremony where they were reunited with their families and over 300 people were fed a delicious buffet put on by the Knights of Columbus Kingston council #275 and Columbiettes. Pictured in photo #1 are some of the member volunteers who prepared the feast: left to right Nick Banbury, Connie Vendetti GK, Jack Cagney, Dick Zeeh, Barbara Venditti, Bernice Fitzgerald, Art Perry DGK, Al Kafel, and Dave Kibler DD. Photo #2 is the soldiers in parade, and photo #3 soldiers in formation waiting to be dismissed, and photo #4 is the buffet the council put out for everyone. |
